The Nataij Group team has extensive knowledge of project design and management, particularly within the context of international climate finance. We help clients identify, prepare, and appraise projects; conduct feasibility studies; understand and articulate a theory of change; and develop concept notes and full proposals.

Nataij Group assists clients build the necessary capacity to meet international standards with respect to fiduciary, environmental, and social practices. We conduct gap assessments and draft appropriate policies, procedures, and frameworks that can be integrated into clients’ existing operational processes.

Nataij Group works with clients to improve the environmental and social (E&S) outcomes of their climate interventions by offering guidance on the development and implementation gender mainstreaming policies, gender action plans, and E&S risk screenings, assessments, and management systems.

The Nataij Group team enhances evidence-based decision making by supporting clients in developing results-oriented measurement frameworks; establishing appropriate indicators and baselines to assess performance and relevance of outputs, outcomes, and impacts; and designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans and tools.

At Nataij Group, we define knowledge management (KM) as the process of generating, capturing, sharing, and/or using information effectively. We work with clients to integrate KM systems across their organization or within specific projects. The Nataij Group team also develops specific KM products (e.g., case studies, analytical reports, online platforms) and assist with database design.

Nataij Group has been commissioned by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization to conduct baseline studies on urban sustainability in different regions, most recently the East African Community. Findings from the study were presented at the Sustainable Energy Forum in Kigali, Rwanda (March 2018) and will be used to inform the preparation of project proposals under GEF-7.
